2025 Spurs Youth Basketball League

Team Registration $100 during regular registration. 

Grade levels based on 2024-2025 school year! Players may only play for one (1) team! SCHOOL TEAMS ONLY! 
Uniforms included in registration. All coaches MUST complete a PYS background check through our website by enrolling themselves on the roster as a coach and accepting the invitation email.  All coaches MUST complete Spillett Leadership University Sexual Abuse Prevention Training (instructions found on bgcsports.com/downloads ). All coaches MUST attend PCA Training at a date set to be determined.  

Coaches must have a background check on file with BGC Laredo and each player must enroll on the roster and as a BGC Laredo Member ($10) on bgclaredo.com 

SYBL specific rules:

1) Man to man defense only in ages 10 and under.  
2) Players must play 1 uninterrupted quarter and 4 consecutive minutes in the following half. 
3) No back court press for ages 10 and under. Full court pressure only allowed in the last minute of each half.

4) Coaches are asked to spend 5 minutes each week talking to the players about making positive choices, staying drug fee, and showing respect to all

Referees 24 - Annual 2024

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Laredo Flag Football League 2024

Players must be from the same school.  Players may only play in one division. 

Players may play up a grade level, but may not play down.  

All coaches must be volunteers with the school district they are representing and are expected to complete all BGC Laredo requirements.
